Arbi snack

Arbi snack/अरबी स्नेक

 

Arbi snack is a shallow fried snack .It can be served as evening snack and can also be made for parties.It is so tasty that you can’t stop eating just with a few.Arbi snack is crunchy from outside and it has softness of arbi from inside.Just give a try of this unique recipe.

Ingredients

Boiled arbi – 500 grams

Chickpea flour – 1/4 cup

Red chilly powder – 1/2 spoon

Turmeric powder – 1 spoon

Coriander powder – 11/2 spoon

Carrom seeds – 1/2 spoon

Asafoetida – 2 pinches

Lemon juice – of 1 lemon

Oil – 2 spoons

Salt – as per taste

Method

Boil arbi till 2 whistles of pressure cooker.

Keep it in the cooker toll pressure is gone.

Keep arbi in the refrigerater for 4 hours so that the stickiness of arbi subside.

Now make a paste of chickpea flour,red chilly powder,turmeric powdercoriander powder,asafoetida,carrom seeds,salt,1 spoon oil.

If needed,you can add 2 spoons of water.

Flatten arbi pieces between palms and fold in the paste.

Heat a pan and brush with oil.

Set arbi pieces on the pan and fry on low medium flame till crisp.

Serve with onion rings and tomato slices.
