Gajar malpua

Gajar malpua is a malpua in which carrots are one of the ingredient.Gajar malpua is a pancake but deep fried.It is a dessert which¬† others probably don’t know.Easy to make and too yummy it is.


Carrots – 500 grams

Milk – 2 cups

Rice flour – 100 grams

Semolina – 75 grams

Milk powder – 75 grams

Green cardamom – 1/2 spoon

Sugar – 1 cup

Water – 1/2 cp

Roasted sesame seeds


Peel and grate carrots.

Blend grated carrots with milk to make a paste.

Pour rice floue,semolina,milk powder and cardamom powder in a mixing bowl.

Make a batter with gajar paste.

Keep it for rest for 1/2 an hour.

Make a sugar syrup by heating water with sugar.

Adjust consistency of batter by adding required water.

The consistency of batter should be pouring.

Deep fry malpuas.

Add malpuas in the sugar syrup.

After 2 minutes,pull malpuas out of syrup.

Garnish with roasted roasted sesame seeds.
