Hare chane ki kadhi
Hare chane ki kadhi is a winter dish.Kadhi is a dish whose recipe differ from state to state.Kadhi is made from curd or butter milk and chickpeaflour,but in hare chane ki kadhi hare chane replaced chickpeaflour.Hare chane are available in winters only,so we can enjoy this dish in winters only.
Hare chane – 300 gram+50 grams
Green chilly – 4
Coriander leaves – 1 bunch
Curd – 300 gram
Oil – 2 spoon+1 spoon
Asafoetida – 1/8 spoon
Fenugreek seeds – 1 spoon
Garlic paste – 1 spoon
Ginger paste – 1 spoon
Onion – 1
Turmeric powder – 1 spoon
Red chilly powder – 1/2 spoon+1 spoon
Mustard seeds – 1 spoon
Whole red chillies – 4
Curry leaves – 10
Blend 300 grams hare chane,green chillies and coriander leaves to a fine paste.Can use some water to make paste.
Blend curd and add paste to it.Also add 2 cups of water.
Heat 2 spoons of oil in kadai and add asafoetida powder,curry leaves and fenugreek seeds.
Add garlic paste,ginger paste and chopped onions when asafoetida powder and fenugreek seeds are done.
When chopped onion,garlic and ginger pastes are done add red chilly powder and turmeric powder.
Add 50 grams hare chane and saute for a minute.
Add blended curd and mix well.
Let it simmer on low heat for 10 minutes while covered with lid.
Mix well and let it simmer for 10 more minutes.
Make a tempering by heating 1 spoon of oil.Add 1 spoon mustard seeds,4 whole red chillies and curry leaves.Let these slutter.Add 1/2 spoon kashmiri red chilly powder.
Pour tempering on the kadhi.
Kadhi is ready to serve.
